+# Launcher Next
+
+Launcher Next is a .NET 8, x64 foundation for Autodesk Plant 3D 2026. It is a parallel successor to the legacy corporate launcher, not a replacement deployment.
+
+The foundation provides local manifest validation, SHA-256 package checks, staged activation, rollback pointers, a one-entry NETLOAD startup script and a dry-run Plant launch model. Production deployment, AutoCAD launch and production package synchronization are not performed.
+
+Architecture decisions and AS-IS evidence are maintained in the Autodesk repository's `architecture/autodesk-launcher` section.
